Illinois Meter, Inc. was founded in Springfield, IL in 1957, and purchased by the Sheley family in 1985. What started in a small warehouse in a residential area in Springfield has grown into five locations throughout central and southern Illinois, with one location in St. Louis, Missouri.

Illinois Meter was rebranded IMCO Utility in 2002 with the opening of its Missouri location. IMCO and its employees believe first and foremost in service to its customers, no matter the size of their projects.
